CDW’24 国内報告会を開催いたしました / From Taiwan to Japan: CDW’24 Debriefing Session held in Tokyo

2024年10月10日から13日の4日間にわたり、『Bioregion-ing Together』をテーマに開催されたCircular Design Week 2024 in Taiwan (CDW’24)を振り返る国内報告会を去る12月11日(水)、新宿区牛込箪笥区民ホールにて開催いたしました。当日は、本会にご参加いただいた白澤貴司氏（日立製作所）、田中友美子氏（NTTコミュニケーションズ KOEL Design Studio）、廣畑達也氏（英治出版）のお三方をお迎えして、物質循環にとどまらない、技術革新や人の価値観の変容も射程に含んだ本質的な社会変革について議論を深めました。
また、イベントの末尾に設けられたネットワーキングでは、循環のデザインや社会変革にさまざまな立場で取り組む方々が交流する、とても有意義な時間となりました。

From October 10 to 13, 2024, the Circular Design Week 2024 in Taiwan (CDW’24) was held under the theme “Bioregion-ing Together.” Following this international event, we hosted a domestic debriefing session to reflect on its key takeaways.
The session welcomed three esteemed participants: Mr. Takashi Shirasawa (Hitachi, Ltd.), Ms. Yumiko Tanaka (NTT Communications KOEL Design Studio), and Mr. Tatsuya Hirohata (Eiji Press). Together, they engaged in a discussion on fundamental societal transformations that extend beyond material circulation to encompass technological innovation and shifts in human values.
The event concluded with a networking session, providing a meaningful opportunity for participants from diverse fields to exchange ideas and perspectives on circular design and societal change.
Looking ahead, next year’s Circular Design Week is tentatively planned to be held in the Kansai region, as announced during the event. Details regarding the date and venue will be shared on the Circular Design Praxis website and through the CDP Newsletter as they become available.
